Mike & I took our 2nd Amtrak train ride across country from Seattle to NY this October. There is so much to see when traveling by train--evergreen trees going over the Cascades; morning sunrise coming down the Eastern slopes of Glacier National Park and onto the flatlands; traveling along & crossing the Mississippi River; abandoned warehouses; vineyards; rivers and lakes; and finally travelling down the Hudson River into Manhattan.
